As a freelance writer, Linda has contributed articles, essays, stories, and reviews to newspapers, magazines, and literary journals. She knows how to interview professionals at all levels and listen for the most telling quotes and anecdotes. She conducts Internet research to strengthen copy content. She is adept at synthesizing information from multiple sources and crafting a cohesive, compelling story.
In a previous role with a major consulting firm, Linda managed human resources communications for a global audience of more than 50,000 personnel, using online and other media. She prepared executive presentations and speeches for top human resources executives. She planned and developed materials addressing sensitive topics, including the introduction of a new performance management system and a significant organizational change.
In a lead marketing role for a not-for-profit business development organization, Linda developed and managed a suite of customizable marketing materials for corporate prospects. Her persuasive business case studies served as the primary content for an annual, special-issue business magazine.
Linda graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a BA in Journalism, specializing in Editorial and Public Relations. She lives with her husband and two children in Oak Park, Illinois.
