Vice President, Strategic Marketing
Kellie Kennedy is a public relations professional with nearly 20 years of experience in the industry. Through her work, she has provided communications strategy and connected clients in the nonprofit, education, healthcare, corporate, and public affairs arenas with top-tier reporters at The Wall Street Journal, Crain’s Chicago Business, CNBC, and the Chicago Tribune, to name a few. She currently serves as the Vice President of Media Relations, managing communications on behalf of The Harbinger Group’s clients, including National Louis University, GTCR, The Federal Savings Bank, 88 Brand Partners and Golden Apple. Prior to joining the Harbinger Group, Kellie directed the communications and marketing for the nonprofit adoption agency St. Mary’s Services. She also was a member of the Public Relations Division at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. She began her career at Hill + Knowlton Strategies, and her clients included the state of Illinois, Motorola and Marshall Field's, among many others. Kellie is married with three children. She spends her free time channeling her inner Martha Stewart through home decor and entertaining.
